ALGIERS (Reuters) - Algeria has evacuated its ambassador and embassy staff from Libya because of a militant threat, flying the diplomats back to Algiers by military plane accompanied by Algerian special forces, a security source said on Friday. At least eight foreign diplomats, including Tunisians, a Jordanian and Egyptians, have been abducted in Libya this year by militants seeking to exchange hostages for fighters detained overseas.
